Getting Here
Fly, drive, or take a bus, but don't miss this special area of Costa Rica!

Getting to Lazy Lizard Catamaran Adventures is easy. From Liberia or the Daniel Oduber International Airport, go West on highway 21 to Belén. Turn right from Belén and take route number 155 until you arrive at Marina Flamingo. There are signs, and you can also ask a friendly local. Everybody knows where Marina Flamingo is.
If you are already in the area in Tamarindo or Flamingo, just give us a call and we will be happy to pick you up for your day of sailing. Our roomy bus seats 15 and is of course air conditioned.
The Playa Flamingo area is a scenic five hour drive from San Jose.
There are also scheduled flights (Sansa & Natureair) and private air taxi flights from San Jose to the nearby Tamarindo Airport (a 20 minute drive to the Marina Flamingo). Delta now has 3 direct flights into Liberia each week from the United States.
Public buses leave San Jose and Flamingo two times a day and cost about $6 per person.
Liberia Airport, only 45 minutes drive from "The Gold Coast", is an international airport with four scheduled flights per week to/from Miami on LACSA Airlines.
Note: If you decide to drive up from San Jose, take it easy and don't speed. The police have radar, and are quite good at using it.
